Bio Note:

Scott served almost a quarter century in the US Army in a variety of positions both in the United States and abroad. While attending the School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), Fort Leavenworth, Kansas he was introduced to the work of Kenneth Osgood and became intrigued in the US use of soft power, public diplomacy, propaganda, and psychological warfare during the Cold War. Scott now studies at the University of Kansas under the direction of Dr. David Farber. Previous work includes a monograph focused on the US Information Service supporting the Saigon government during the Eisenhower administration. His current research project is an examination of Eisenhower's exposure to the growth and use of psychological warfare during the Second World War.
