Patrick Eaton is a retired Command Sergeant Major, Infantry NCO, and former U.S. Marine. He currently works as a Senior Analyst on a Doctrinal Training Team. He held leadership positions from Team Leader through Command Sergeant Major across light infantry and mechanized infantry formations. He later served as a brigade operations Sergeant Major for a Maneuver Enhancement Brigade and last served as a Commandant for a Regional Training Institute.
Patrick holds a BA in from Thomas Edison State University and an MA in Military History from American Public University. His graduate thesis provided a comparison of the Royal Air Force Bomber Command and the 8th US Air Force during the Second World War. Patrick recently completed his dissertation, Conventional Commanders in an Unconventional War, examining the U.S. Army maneuver battalion and brigade commanders between 1965 to 1973.
