Bio Note:
Meaghan McClure is a rising senior at the City University of New York- Hunter College. She majors in History and German, and has a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies. She intends to graduate in May of 2022, and hopes to pursue her master's degree in Germany before continuing onto a Ph.D. program.
Meaghan's research focus is interwar German military history. This past spring, she completed her undergraduate dissertation, "Hans von Seeckt and the Anti-Democratization of the Reichswehr," under the direction of Professor Benjamin Hett. She is very excited to expand upon her thesis in her future educational endeavors.
In the past, Meaghan has interned with the Army Heritage Center Foundation (USAHEC), where she first heard about The Society of Military History. Currently, she is interning at the Wilson Center's History and Public Policy Program (HAPP).
