Bio Note:
Jennifer is pursuing her PhD with a specialization in twentieth-century military history. While her research focuses on East Asia, she has a strong foundation in global strategic thought. She is especially interested in the influence of logistics on the outcomes and experiences of modern warfare. Her dissertation focuses on the Chinese Nationalist government's grain procurement and transportation policies during the Second Sino-Japanese War (1937–1945). Prior to the PhD program, she examined logistical arrangements for the Indian Expeditionary Force on the Western Front at the University of Cambridge. She obtained her BA in History from the National University of Singapore.
