Military History Faculty
Norwich University is the oldest private military college in the United States and the school where ROTC first started.

Norwich’s online Masters of Arts in Military History and in History programs build on the national reputation of the undergraduate program. The MMH and MAH programs bring together more than 50 adjunct faculty members, who bring decades of teaching expertise and hundreds of publications to their online classrooms. By 2019, a new concentration in Legal and Constitutional History will be offered under the auspices of the MAH program, and then in 2020, a Public History concentration will be added.
Norwich University is also home to the Sullivan Museum of Military History http://www.norwich.edu/museum/, the Norwich University Archives http://archives.norwich.edu/digital/, the Peace and War Center http://www.norwich.edu/pawc/, and the annual Colby Military Writers Symposium http://colby.norwich.edu/.

Norwich alumni have later pursued Ph.D.’s at King’s College London, University of Illinois, Ohio University, University of Southern Mississippi, University of Glasgow, and Ohio University.

In addition to academic careers, many Norwich alumni work for the Department of Defense and many other government agencies.
