The April 2009 issue (Volume 51, Number 2) of Comparative Studies in Society and History contains an article entitled "Soldiers, Citizens, and the State: East German Army Officers in Post-Unification Germany", by Andrew Bickford at George Mason University. Publications

The Society publishes the Journal of Military History, the premier journal of its kind, on a quarterly schedule. The Journal contains scholarly articles and book reviews.

The Society also publishes a quarterly newsletter, the Headquarters Gazette, which delivers informative articles, conference listings and other materials to our members.
