Smithsonian and
There are broad Smithsonian Fellowship opportunities for research just about anywhere within the Smithsonian system, but there are also two specific fellowships that might be of interest to military historians working on aerospace topics: the Air and Space Museum offers the pre- and post-doc Guggenheim fellowships as well as the Verville fellowship.
